Auctions Team Up
To Save
Operators Big
Money!
The Amusement &
Music Operators
Association (AMOA)
is proud to
announce the
creation of its
newest program
for its operator
members—a
special savings
on equipment
sold through
Super Auctions,
a Huntington
Beach, CA-based
auction firm.
The program, to
be officially
introduced at
this year’s
March 28-30,
2007 Amusement
Showcase
International (ASI)
in Las Vegas,
will feature a
pair of
exclusive, AMOA
members-only
pricing offers:
-
A special
consignment
commission
of 10
percent for
AMOA
members—which
represents a
39
percent
savings
from the
standard
13.9 percent
rate; and
-
A further
reduced
consignment
rate for
AMOA member
“volume
sellers” of
7.5 percent,
a 25
percent
savings
off the
company’s
standard 9.9
percent
rate.
“AMOA has a
substantial
number of
members who
participate in
equipment
auctions,” said
Lloyd
Williamson,
AMOA’s First
Vice President
and owner of
Williamson’s
Music in Winona,
MN. “The
potential
savings for AMOA
operators is
very
significant.”
As part of the
program, Super
Auctions is
designated as
the Official
Auctioneer of
AMOA, and will
work closely
with the
association on
marketing and
promoting the
auction savings
program to
operator
members, as well
as potential new
members, too.

doing auctions
exclusively for
the amusement
sector for more
than 15 years
and have built
up a strong
relationship in
the industry
during that
time,” said
Super Auctions
President Rob
Storment.
